Anders is leading the global Supply Chain Development function, which helps Maersk’s top customers to improve and develop their supply chain through a partnership approach. team helps to deliver supply chains with the right balance between service level, costs and ESG impact. This is achieved through applying cross-industry best practices and experience, structured collaboration models, and strong analytical capabilities. He has 6 years of experience, 3 in Maersk Management Consulting (MMC) and 3 in Maersk SCD – his background is as a molecular biologist with a PhD in Neuroscience. In MMC he has been part of creating Twill, led the development of Maersk Value Protect, project leader on the merger of Damco and Maersk, as well as Maersk and APMT Inland Services, and been part of creating functional and BU strategies. In SCD he has helped some of the largest companies in the world with optimizing their supply chain
