Vice President Global Logistics Operations Bayer

Arne is a versatile professional with 20 years experience in strategy, consultancy, supply chain, logistics, procurement and chemistry. Currently serving our customers as the VP of Global Logistics Operations at Bayer Crop Science, Arne oversees global intercompany business operations and leads special projects in the field of tariff and duty optimization.

Previously, he held the position of VP Active Ingredient & Supply Strategy Fungicides, where he transformed the supply system for fungicides and creating a more cost-efficient and resilient setup. He also served as VP Procurement Fungicides, strategically developing the spend category with a strong supplier base in Europe, India and China.

Prior to his engagements in Bayer Crop Science Arne worked as project manager & consultant at Bayer Business Consulting and McKinsey & Company, where he led multiple strategic projects and major restructuring initiatives. He holds a PhD in metal-organic chemistry.
