Emilio Solanes

As Delivery Lead at the Digital Container Shipping Association, Emilio is responsible for the development and delivery of digital standards for operational container shipping processes, specifically addressing vessel-related information exchange between operational partners and their customers (i.e., Operational Schedules, Commercial Schedules, Just in Time, Booking Forecasts, etc.). Together with the Asset Productivity Team team drives the digital transformation of the industry to enable more transparent, efficient, and sustainable operations. Prior to joining DCSA, Emilio was a Senior Consultant of Strategy & Operations at Alfa Consulting (now part of Accenture) specializing in operations transformation and digitalization across several capital-intensive industries worldwide. Before that, he held positions as Senior Business Controller, Project Manager, and FP&A, at Shell Chile and LATAM Cargo. Emilio holds an International MBA from IE Business School (Spain) and a degree in Industrial Engineering from UNCuyo (Argentina), amongst other certifications.
