Trusted Carrier GmbH & Co. KG was founded in 2021 on the initiative of the Federal Association of Freight Transport Logistics and Disposal (BGL) e.V. as an open offer of a universal digital interface between transport partners and the shipping industry. Participating transport partners use the portal for one-time registration and collection of vehicle master data, which is 100% checked and validated by Trusted Carrier. The drivers are equipped with an app, that is secured by biometrics on the smartphone or tablet, and which is 100% GDPR compliant by design. Additional functionality includes the management of electronic documents, safety documents, driver community features or ETA calculations. Starting in the chemical industry in Germany, Trusted Carrier is now adding partnerships in adjacent industries like petro-chem and pharmaceuticals as well as providing services and neighboring countries like the Netherlands and Belgium.
