Sander Rijsdijk

In his position as Director Industry & Bulk at the Port of Rotterdam Authority, Sander Rijsdijk (48) manages the commercial department which is responsible for all customers within the port of Rotterdam dealing with dry as well as liquid bulk cargo, including the chemical companies involved in transport, storage and production. On an annual basis this amounts up to 280 million tonnes of seagoing cargo throughput. Prior to this Sander Rijsdijk held several commercial positions in which he was responsible for commercial tank storage companies, power generation and utilities. Sander holds a bachelor of Maritime Management at Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences
