Sofie Wallyn

After obtaining a business degree at Vlerick Management School, Sofie joined ExxonMobil in several roles in Sales Process Improvement and Supply Chain. She had a first team lead experience in the Marine Dry Cargo Strategy group. Moving to Eastman 9 years later, after leading the Supply Planning team through a transformational SAP implementation, Sofie became Global Supply Chain Manager for one of Eastman’s smaller business units. Following a significant restructuring effort within Supply Chain whereby Logistics and Customer Service were consolidated across the EMEA region, Sofie was appointed Regional Logistics Operations Manager, being responsible for >80% of all Eastman’s outbound shipments in the EMEA region and defining and setting up the appropriate organizational structure to support that. Currently, Sofie takes on full responsibility for EMEA Logistics and Global Customs&Trade for the company.
