Director International Trade Operations Dow

Lennart is Director for International Trade Operations, which encompasses developing and rolling out strategy across Dow on logistics in MPC and airfreight, and Trade Compliance and Facilitation. He is based in Terneuzen, but his role spans all Businesses and areas for Dow. Recently he has initiated a full revamp of the MPC work process for Dow, including a further step in digitalizing this process, to be better prepared in future for turbulence in the container-freight market. Next to this, Lennart is also the Logistics Advocacy Focal Point for Dow in Europe. In this capacity he has been instrumental in creating understanding of the impact to Logistics for Dow from the European Green Deal and the recently announced Fit for 55 initiative, supporting Dow’s ambitious ESG-plans, including the pledge to be carbon neutral by 2050 and ending plastic waste.
