Mr. Manuel Dias

Manuel is an Enterprise Solution Consultant at AspenTech focusing on the Chemicals industry. His primary areas of expertise are on Supply Chain Management and Production Planning, Scheduling & Optimization, where more recently he has been working on incorporating sustainability related requirements, for example for managing CO2 emissions or tracking green materials via the mass balance approach. During his +15 years career at AspenTech, Manuel has advised tens of energy and chemicals customers globally with a track record of successful technology adoption and solution implementations delivering value across refining, petrochemicals and derivatives. Before joining AspenTech, Manuel worked for Borealis at its chemicals manufacturing sites in Portugal and Sweden where he had roles in planning, optimization and production management. Manuel holds a MSc in Chemical Engineering by the Technical University of Lisbon (Portugal) and an MBA by the IE Business School, Madrid (Spain).
